US govt blames EU for troubling Google, Apple, Meta and others

US officials, through the USTR, have accused the European Union of discriminating against American tech companies with ongoing lawsuits and regulations. The US threatens retaliatory measures against European tech firms operating in America if the EU does not cease these practices, citing a lack of reciprocal market access.
